Who Votes at the ABM Election?
Members of the 2007 National Governing Board (one electoral vote each);
2007 Local Chapter Presidents (one to eight electoral votes, depending on # of REALTOR Members as of September 1); and members-at-large (one electoral vote each).
How Do I Get Credentialed?
Voting delegates get credentialed when they check in the morning of the Annual Business Meeting by presenting their full fee-paid Conference badge. Volunteers match the badge to the list of eligible delegates and issue a ballot.
What If I can't be There to Vote?
Local chapter presidents who wish to assign their voting privileges to another current chapter member (REALTOR or REALTOR-Associates only) may do so in writing, naming the alternate. State chapter presidents may assign, in writing, voting rights to another state chapter officer. The designated alternate must bring the letter to the ABM and present it to the Credentials Committee during the check in process. No other delegates may assign their voting privileges. Questions?
